Jackson Preparatory Magnet is part of Saint Paul Public Schools, ISD 625, offering Pre-K through 6^th grade. 

A school within the Promise Neighborhood in Frogtown, we attract over 570 students from all over the city of Saint Paul.  The school’s mission is to provide a safe, nurturing, respectful and inclusive environment that offers all children opportunities for acceleration and enrichment to develop their full potential and prepare them to be successful, responsible citizens.

Jackson expects all students to be respectful, responsible, and safe learners.  The school’s core belief is that children are everyone’s priority.  This is upheld by teachers, parents, community partners, and the St. Paul Promise Neighborhood Initiative. The school is committed to nurturing children as individuals through academic rigor and personal development.

Next year will be Jackson's fifth year working in partnership with the Minnesota Reading Corps (MRC).  MRC supports students in preK-3rd grade in literacy.  It is an incredible way to spend a year of your life... building the literacy lives of others! Jackson has offered the first Hmong Dual Language Program since 2006.
