Jackson Magnet school prepares students for a lifetime of learning. The school’s core belief is that children come first. The school demonstrates this by offering all children the opportunity for acceleration (fast paced learning) and enrichment (learning that extends beyond the regular classroom lessons) to achieve their full potential.

Jackson’s new media center is the heart of the school and is visited daily by all children for reading and research purposes. The school also offers accelerated math classes based on achievement. The schoolwide geography program (one of the students’ favorite academic features) is unique to Jackson. Jackson encourages parent involvement and strives for a partnership between home, school and community.
